Job Overview
Employees in this role drive reliability improvements, increase customer experience and satisfaction, and ensure work execution is within established guidelines and budgets.This position responds to elevated customer concerns and makes decisions with impact to company brand. Individuals in this role responds to customer outages during regular weather and natural disasters and ensure compliance with all regulatory and utility comission requirements.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Designs, schedules,approves, and oversees work scope for all hardening, preventative maintenance, customer trim requests and capital scope work
Coordinates with the Distribution Control Center (power systems operations) and electrical repair crews for safe and rapid grounding, line clearing and restoration efforts
Works with and coordinates with local officials and governments to advocate for legislation and programs which enable customers to plant trees away from power lines
Supports reactive work including: regularly occuring outages, high impact outage events, major storm restoration and out of area travel
Oversees a large workforce for day-to-day operations including budgetary approvals and process compliance activities
Resolves customer complaints and inquires promptly and supports legal requests
Ensures the inspection of all work performed is in accordance with contract scope and specifications
Coordinates with engineering teams to ensure proper clearances and vegetation clearing techniques during pre-construction activities
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High School Grad / GED
Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
Experience: 3+ years
Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
ISA Certified Arborist
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Experience: 5+ years
Leadership Experience: 3+ years
ISA Certif Arborist Utility Specialist
Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certified
