About the Role

Our Purchasing Team are currently recruiting a Stores Person to support, operate and work within the Food and Beverage control and goods received function. This role is responsible for receiving deliveries, delivering food, beverage and consumables items to various departments across our resort and to support our Purchasing Team with stock control and ordering.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • To communicate and support with ordering all Food, Beverage and Consumables items as required on daily and weekly basis.

  • Delivery of all food, beverage, consumable and non-food items to all internal departments, across our resort

  • Receive deliveries ensuring they correspond with invoice and order sheet and communicating any variances or quality issues to Stores Supervisor and Head Chef

  • Ensure stock is rotated to avoid wastage.

  • Completion of daily delivery record for all food items involving confirming temperature and weight

  • To assist with inputting Food and Beverage invoices into the EATEC Food and Beverage Control system. Inform Stores Supervisor or Purchasing Manager of any price variances

  • To assist with month end Food & Beverage stock taking and monthly stock check of all consumable stock

  • To complete cleaning tasks to ensure the Stores, Freezer, Fridge, Beverage store and Stationary cupboard are maintained in a clean and safe manner at all times

About You

You will be an enthusiastic and organised individual who enjoys working as part of a team but can also work independently. A can-do attitude and strong communication skills are essential for this role. Ideally, you will have experience working within a stock control or Food and Beverage or culinary environment.

This role will involve an element of heavy lifting.

Salary

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, until 31 st of October. Our shift pattern is working 5 days out of 7 between the hours of 7.30 am and 5.30 pm and there will be an element of weekend working to this role, depending on business requirements. A competitive hourly rate up to £12.36 per hour is offered, depending on experience along with a vast range of associate benefits.
