Wildlife Resources Job Title:  Office Specialist II - Central Region Office     Job Description: Are you interested in working with hunters,anglers,and other wildlife enthusiasts to promote wildlife awareness and share in their enthusiasm? The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources is looking for an Office Specialist II to assist with front office operations at the DWR Central Region Office in Springville,Utah. This role involves being the first point of contact for the public by handling inquiries and providing information. This position serves as the initial point of contact for the public,answering phones and greeting walk-in customers. Responsibilities include providing Division-wide hunting and fishing information,processing over-the-counter sales of licenses,permits,and certificates of registration,assisting with unit boundary questions,drawing application processes,and overseeing the check-in process for bobcats,cougars,black bears,martens,and swans.  Principal Duties:  As an office specialist II,you will:

  • Sell licenses,permits,and various wildlife documents.
  • Provide accurate information pertaining to Division rules,laws,policies,and decisions.
  • Interact with the public in a manner that displays sensitivity,tact,and professionalism.
  • Operate various office equipment,and computer software,operate point-of-sale terminal and cash register.
  • Open office daily and reconcile monies at closing.
  • Educate and assist the public with hunt draw processes.
