Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Account Manager in the Hi-Tech Engineering industry located in Springfield, Vermont. This role primarily involves managing and responding to customer inquiries across various platforms, promoting and selling our products and services, and handling administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries through calls, emails, and online chat.

  • Proactively manage and resolve customer service issues and disputes.

  • Sell and promote our products and services to new and existing customers, utilizing techniques such as upselling, suggestive selling, and sales promotions.

  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of company offerings, service areas, pricing, technical capabilities, and related information to provide comprehensive technology solutions tailored to customer needs.

  • Process customer payments, investigate and resolve billing issues, establish payment arrangements for delinquent accounts, and collaborate with other departments to resolve billing disputes.

  • Initiate service orders for starting, upgrading, or terminating service and manage number port requests.

  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and record maintenance.

  • Communicate regularly with customers and team members, requiring excellent interpersonal skills both over the phone and in person.

  • Assist with processing batch payments and applying monthly recurring credit card payments.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

    Requirements

• Possess strong communication skills for effective customer interactions

• Have a deep understanding of customer service principles and practices

• Proven track record in B2B sales

• Demonstrated experience in direct sales

• Proven track record in outbound sales

• Broad experience in sales is mandatory

• Have a regular sales activity record demonstrating consistent performance.
