What’s a typical day as a Shared Services Operations Specialist? You’ll be:

• Following standard procedural guidelines for performing tasks.

• Responsible for performing various tasks such as logging checks, processing documents, and working CLEAR queues.

• Placing outbound calls to insurance carriers and receiving inbound calls from insurance carriers.

• Providing assistance and backup as needed to meet client requirements and SLA's.

• Handling other duties/projects based on business needs.

• Working under immediate supervision and initially performing basic and routine tasks.

• Researching items received via faxes, reports, tasks, correspondence, and refund/return checks.

• Making appropriate telephone calls to resolve issues.

• Following client's standard policies and procedures.

• Working efficiently in client and company proprietary applications.

• Demonstrating solid technical knowledge and quality performance.

• Meeting behavioral expectations such as attendance, teamwork, and organizational contributions.

• Have experience in shared services operations or a similar role.

• Possess strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Are able to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Have the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

• Are proficient in using computer applications and software.

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent. A college degree is preferred.
