Position Profile: Plant Controller
Location: Springfield, MO
Pay: $100,000-125,000
We are seeking a highly qualified Controller with a strong background in manufacturing and/or construction accounting, possessing a thorough understanding of accounting principles and procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate supervisory experience, proficiency with accounting and/or manufacturing software, and a clear grasp of laws, regulations, and policies relevant to the industry. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
Supervise a small accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely completion of financial transactions and reporting.
Implement and maintain accounting controls and protocols to streamline paperwork flow and enhance overall accounting efficiency.
Utilize operational insights to standardize protocols and procedures, improving the organization's accounting controls and processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, driving down costs and optimizing financial performance.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
Proven experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing and/or construction accounting.
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and manufacturing-specific software (e.g., ERP systems).
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, laws, and policies relevant to financial operations.
Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategic initiatives.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
