SUMMARY:

The Sr. Finance Manager Supply Chain Capital will play an essential role in partnering with both the Supply Chain leadership team, Engineering as well as the business teams to effectively deploy capital resources. This role will work with stakeholders across various functions and locations; strong communication and an ability to build effective partnerships are critical for success. In addition the Sr Manager will assist in developing and executing capital strategies for Prepared Foods with the goal of delivering profitable & sustainable returns. Day to day accountabilities include partnering with Engineering, manufacturing sites & business teams to analyze and execute capital & project related spend. The Sr Manager will also participate in the development of the monthly, quarterly & annual forecasts, working closely with cross functional business partners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage team to track and analyze performance of Projects, asset book value and depreciation for Tyson\'s Prepared Foods Network

Provide engineering team with support for project review and submission to Property Accounting to authorize project spend.

Analyze Project risk, return and costing via Anaplan for financial consideration

Coordinate quarterly asset validation and auditing for the Prepared Foods.

Compose Monthly LE & Annual Operating Plan for Capital and Expense Projects, asset impairment and depreciation for 35+ plants

Present project summaries and risks to Directors and VP\'s of Supply Chain Finance, Operations, and Engineering

Provide support to Audit Committee and Board of Directors on large capital projects and post audit review

Coordinate business projects across Tyson to include sales, marketing, planning, operations, finance and engineering

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education/Certifications: Undergrad degree in Finance, Accounting, Operations; MBA desired
  • Experience: 8+ years in Finance & or Operations in positions of increasing responsibility, previous CPG/Food manufacturing a plus
  • Computer Skills: Highly proficient at Office systems including Excel; experience with SAP, BI, and BPC is desired. Experience in using Power Query & Power BI is a plus
  • Communication Skills: Able to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Travel: less than 25%
