ManpowerGroup Contracts Lead II in Spring, Texas

Our client, an oil & gas company, is seeking a Contracts Lead to join their team. The ideal candidate will have good communication and analytical skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Contracts Lead II

Location: Spring, TX

Pay Range: Up to $55/hr

Duration: 6 months (potential to extend)

What’s the Job?

  • Negotiates contract pricing and terms & conditions directly with suppliers while working with internal stakeholders, seeking lowest total system costs and appropriate mitigation of supply and legal risk.

  • Assesses procurement agreements to understand value opportunities regarding supply chain optimization activities, such as, changing freight terms, network model changes, forecast/demand improvements, on time delivery improvements, vendor managed inventory, etc.

  • Supports roadmap development of total value opportunity.

  • Works with Procurement to amend agreements and tracks value delivery.

What’s Needed?

  • PtP knowledge

  • System utilization & efficiency (SAP knowledge is a requirement)

  • Application of business & procurement technical knowledge

  • Contract development, contract management, negotiating and influencing
