Description Job Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Programmer Analyst to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems, as well as configuring and overseeing various capabilities including permissions and roles within our ERP, accounting, and other enterprise systems. This role is ideal for someone with a foundational understanding of programming and systems analysis, who is eager to develop their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. Salary ranges from $79,170 - $86,600 Depending on Experience. Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to: EDI Setup and Configuration: Gather necessary information for EDI setup from identified sources. Collaborate with trading partners to establish new EDI connections. Ensure EDI VANs do proper mapping of data to comply with internal and external requirements. Oversee EDI VAN testing to ensure transactions work end to end. EDI Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor EDI transactions to ensure successful transmission and receipt. Diagnose and resolve issues related to EDI processing and integration. Maintain logs and documentation for EDI processes and issues. ERP, Accounting, and Other Enterprise System Configuration: Assist in configuring capabilities in ERP, accounting systems, and other enterprise systems. Assist in setting up user roles and permissions in ERP, accounting systems, and other enterprise systems. Ensure that access controls comply with company policies and security standards. Conduct periodic reviews of system access and usage and make necessary adjustments with guidance. Support and Maintenance: Provide technical support to end-users for EDI and enterprise systems. Participate in the maintenance and updating of system documentation. Collaborate with the IT team to implement system improvements and upgrades. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal departments to understand and meet their EDI and ERP needs with guidance. Liaise with software vendors and external partners to resolve issues and implement changes. Provide training and support to users on EDI and ERP functionalities with guidance. Job Requirements Ability to collaborate and communicate well both written and verbal with cross-functional team members and at all levels of the organization. 2-year college degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent work experience including through internships. Strong desire to learn and stay current on modern and emerging technologies. Ability to learn new technologies quickly through a mix of instructor-led and online training. Strong desire to learn software development and implementation of good practices and the ability to consistently apply those practices to daily work. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High attention to detail and excellent customer service skills. Ability to multitask with changing priorities, in a team environment with minimal supervision.
