Eaton Corporation OEM Aftermarket Account Manager in Southfield, Michigan

Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a OEM Aftermarket Account Manager. This is a remote position that requires travel to frequent travel to customer sites in North America and Eaton Mobility Group HQ in Galesburg, MI.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $110999.97 - $162799.96 a year. This position is also eligible for a sales variable incentive program of 20%.

What you’ll do:

Leads the implementation of sales strategies and account management initiatives for assigned OEM customers within the NAFTA region. Responsible for revenue, profitability, customer relations and overall customer satisfaction. Develops relationships with key customer contacts and acts as a liaison with all functional areas of the organization to support OEM strategies and drive execution. Collects and analyzes business intelligence data to understand performance trends and to maximize Eaton revenue and share.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement customer growth strategies for Eaton aftermarket products.

  • Works with the aftermarket sales PSM team to ensure OEM strategies are deployed throughout the OEM dealer networks and pull through sales strategies are successfully executed.

  • Develop and manage customer relationships at all levels of the organization.

  • Direct involvement in all customers related problem resolution.

  • Participates in OEM events representing Eaton.

  • Collects business intelligence information to determine industry trends and communicate within the organization.

  • Drive and ensure Long Term Agreement contract administration (ex. Pricing, Rebates, etc.).

  • Implements product pricing updates & maintains Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) targets.

  • Participates in SIOP process to improve forecast accuracy.

  • Contributes to new product introduction to assist in executing a successful launch by participation in ProLaunch as functional sales lead.

  • Supports customer scorecard activities and improvements.

Qualifications:

Basic (required) qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university

  • Five (5+) or more years of experience in a commercial vehicle account management position

  • Ability to travel to OEM customer locations, dealers and fleet locations in North America

  • Eligible to work in the Unites States without company sponsorship, now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in business or technical discipline

  • Previous experience as an account manager supporting North American Truck OEMs

  • Commerical Vehicle products knowledge

  • Previous trucking and transportation industry experience
