JOB SUMMARY: The HR Administrator plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless transition for new employees into the company. Duties and Responsibilities: * Process and monitor new-hire work-flow via the Applicant Tracking System and HRIS system * Ensure that all onboarding activities adhere to company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations * Review all backgrounds, complete individual assessments, and adjudicate as needed * Collaborate with HR, management, and various departments to create a cohesive onboarding experience * Assist with employee orientations to introduce new hires to the company's culture, values, and expectations * Complete general data audits * Maintain and respond to all incoming communication to the HR department * Complete verifications of employment * Other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: * Associate's Degree or Certification in Human Resources or a related field; * 1-3 years of experience in the HR field; * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; * Strong PC skills, including proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; * Basic knowledge of HR practices and principles; * Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with UKG * PHR or SHRM-CP certification * Bachelor's degree in HR or computer science * Experience working in a retail-based company; * Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal skills, including ability to observe confidentiality; * Ability to handle multiple activities and tasks in a fast-paced environment. * Ability to work in a changing environment. Working Conditions: Work hours are typically 8-5, Mon-Fri, some additional time may be required on evening and weekends.
