Town of Southampton Beach Manager in Southampton, New York
The Town Of Southampton is seeking qualified candidates to serve as Beach Managers.Beach Manager - Compensation based on experienceBeach Managers are responsible for the safe operation of all-parking areas and buildings located with-in the Parks and shall report directly to the Sr. Beach Manager. They have complete authority over Beach Attendants and others associated with the operation and maintenance of the area. The Beach Managers also have the authority, to report any lifeguard-related problems to the Chief Lifeguard, Senior Beach Manager and/or the Director if they cannot be resolved at the time of occurrence.Minimum Qualifications:(A) Graduation from high school AND four (4) seasons of experience in the management or operation of a beach, pool, park facility, or summer camp, including one (1) season in a supervisory capacity; or(B) Two (2) seasons as an Assistant Beach ManagerNote: College Education may be substituted for the above non-supervisory experience on a year to year basis up to a maximum 3 years where 1 year of college equals 1 season.Please forward application and/or resume to: Town of Southampton - Human Resources116 Hampton RoadSouthampton, NY 11968 Fax 631-287-5721 HumanResources@southamptontownny.gov ** For more information, call the Parks Department at 631-728-8585 EOE
