Otter Co-Op Kitchen Associate - PT (Highwayman Pub South Surrey) in South Surrey, British Columbia
Otter Co-op is now hiring for a Part-Time Kitchen Associate for our Highwayman Pub located in South Surrey, BC.

What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, responsibilities for this position include the following:
Collecting pans/dishes from the line
Assisting with food preparations (cutting vegetables)
Running food to the tables
Stocking coolers and refrigerators and ensuring all equipment and other items are stored properly
Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, etc.
Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
Operate in a fast-paced manner to provide all areas of the restaurant with clean, sanitized dishware
Assist with various duties such as portioning food and cleaning/sanitizing to assist kitchen operations
Maintain quality and speed of output
Contribute to the Team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community and Excellence
Perform other duties as assigned

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Food Service Industry and:
Previous Kitchen Associate experience is an asset
Must have excellent communication skills, be able to work efficiently in a team setting as well as independently in a fast-paced environment
Must have a strong work ethic
This is a physical job requiring the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds on occasion
Must be committed to a SAFE working environment
FoodSafe Level 1 is an asset
Preferred candidates will have open availability and be able to work a variety of shifts 7 days a week.
This position is based at the Highwayman Pub South Surrey, though it may require on some occasions to travel and work at other locations as business needs arise
