Robert Half Weekend Receptionist in South San Francisco, California

Description

We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a detail-oriented Receptionist in South San Francisco, California. The role involves managing the front desk operations of our organization and providing exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of administrative and customer service-related tasks. This role is part-time weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) 7am - 330pm

Responsibilities:

• Manage front desk reception duties, ensuring a welcoming environment for visitors.

• Efficiently handle incoming phone calls, directing queries to relevant departments.

• Process packages for delivery or pickup, ensuring accurate logging of items.

• Greet all visitors and conduct necessary health checks such as temperature readings.

• Cover breaks and lunches for other staff members, ensuring continuous front desk coverage.

• Perform accurate data entry tasks as required.

• Distribute incoming mail to the appropriate recipients within the organization.

• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

• Assist clients with medication pickup and restocking of day room supplies.

• Check clients in and out as per the organization's protocols.

• Conduct facility rounds both inside and outside, ensuring a safe and secure environment.

• Enforce rules and issue notices when necessary.

• Assist in the receipt of food deliveries and donations.

Skills:

• Proficiency in 'Pick and Pack' operations.

Requirements • The candidate must have a minimum of 0 years of work experience.

• The individual must exhibit excellent customer service skills and have a friendly demeanor.

• Proficiency in the 'Pick and Pack' skill is a requirement for this position.

• Superior oral and written communication abilities are essential.

• The applicant should be capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Basic computer skills including knowledge of email, word processing, and spreadsheet software are required.

• The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.

• The individual must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

• The candidate should be capable of working independently as well as part of a team.

• The ability to handle high-stress situations and maintain composure is essential.

• The applicant should demonstrate a high level of professionalism at all times.

• The candidate must be willing to adhere to the company's policies and procedures.

• The individual must be able to maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• The candidate should be available to work during standard business hours.
