As a Junior Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our cost basis and tax reporting processes. Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting data analysis and reconciliation of cost basis data from various sources.
Producing accurate and actionable status reports.
Reviewing and approving tax documents such as W-8s.
Assisting in the review of year-end tax forms and related checkouts.
Performing income reclassification testing and validation.
Supporting the creation, modification, and review of test plan and test summary documents.
Analyzing and processing tax withholding and reporting exception reports.
Addressing inquiries from clients related to tax and cost basis.
Conducting root cause research and analysis for cost basis and tax reporting processes.

Responsibilities
Perform different levels of data analysis & reconciliation of Cost Basis supplier and our inhouse data.
Ensure that the status reports produced are accurate, relevant, complete, and actionable.
-Review and approval of tax documents (W-8s) and other relevant documents
Assist in the team with review of year-end tax form (1099s, 1042-S, 2439 etc.) and related checkout.
Income reclassification testing and validation
-Support creation, modification and review of test plan and test summary documents
-Tax withholding and reporting exception reports analysis and processing
-Support the team in addressing tax and cost basis related inquiries from our clients.
-Root cause research and analysis for Cost Basis and tax reporting processes
