Utah State Job Bank Jr. High US History/Human Geography Teacher in SOUTH JORDAN, Utah
A K-9 charter school located in South Jordan, is now accepting applications for a full-time Jr. High US History/Human Geography Teacher. This position is for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year, with the possibility of contract renewal for the 2025-2026 school year based on performance and school needs.
The mission of the Early Light Academy is to deliver a high-quality education with a deep, rich and engaging curriculum utilizing effective instructional techniques and emphasizing history, taking our students from the Stone Age to the Information Age and beyond.
Qualified applicants will have a valid Utah Secondary teaching license with a Social Studies Composite Endorsement. Candidates who hold certifications or endorsements to teach multiple subjects are strongly encouraged to apply. Prior teaching experience is preferred. Applicant must demonstrate ability to engage and inspire students toward meeting the school's mission and vision.
