Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Management Analyst role within the local government sector in SOUTH GATE, California. This role primarily involves administrative tasks and requires skills in areas such as Microsoft Excel, Land Use Planning, Research, Spanish Language, Capital Improvement, and Contract Management.
Responsibilities:
• Undertake research and development tasks to support municipal projects.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation.
• Assist with contract management, ensuring the proper execution of municipal contracts.
• Contribute to land use planning initiatives, applying knowledge of local government processes.
• Utilize Spanish language skills to facilitate communication with diverse community members.
• Participate in the management of Capital Improvement projects, coordinating resources and schedules.
• Respond to inquiries and provide information to stakeholders about municipal services and procedures. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge and experience in Land Use Planning
• Strong research abilities and familiarity with Research & Development processes
• Proficiency in Spanish language
• Experience in Capital Improvement projects
• Experience in Contract Management
• Previous experience in an administrative role within local government
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in all tasks
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• Proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Outlook
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and software
• Knowledge of local government procedures and regulations.
