Description
Our Brisbane Structural section is currently looking for a proactive Structural BIM Modeller to join the team in Merivale Street office. This position is aimed at someone who has proven Revit experience working in a variety of building projects. You will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects including, commercial, healthcare and educational buildings.
You will be an experienced Structural Modeller, well-versed in managing a suite of projects for various large clients. The successful candidate will handle the coordination and documentation of projects under the direction of Project Engineers. They will need to be able to proactively manage deliverables in consideration of project milestones varying requirements when working across multiple projects.
This position is suitable for someone with previous experience who is looking to contribute to a growing team, creating an ongoing, sustainable business bringing innovation and offering the highest quality technical services to clients.
Base Salary Range: $70,000 to $80,000
Day to day tasks would involve:
Prepare structural documentation using Revit and AutoCAD
Manage and deliver drafting / design building services work packages relating to Structural projects.
Execute drafting work within time constraints to a professional standard
Produce detailed, coordinated structural models and attend interdisciplinary coordination workshops
Produce calculations, specifications and drawings to ensure that technical design will provide the appropriate solution
Reliably support Engineers and Project Engineers in completing projects in terms of program, profitability, technical risk management and overall Client satisfaction
Coordinate documentation undertaken by personnel in our Pune office
Work closely and develop trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Execute drafting work within time constraints to a professional standard
Adhere to professional standards, ethics and Stantec quality procedures
Contribute to our Company culture
To be successful for this role you'll need:
2 years structural Revit experience working on buildings projects
Have previous experience working in an Engineering Consultancy
Understanding of BIM techniques utilising Revit and Clash detection software
Dedicated in pursuing continued development in Revit/BIM Design Package, design understanding and product education
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to use initiative and think outside the box
Associate Degree in Civil Engineering
