Under | | | direct supervision and indirect | | | supervision. | | | | | | Essential Job Functions: | | | | | | - Keep facilities and common | | | areas clean and maintained. | | | - Vacuum, sweep, mop, and wax | | | floors. | | | - Cleans and stocks restrooms. | | | - Inventories and restocks | | | supplies. | | | - Cleans up spills with | | | appropriate equipment. | | | - Notify managers of necessary | | | repairs. | | | - Collects and removes trash | | | and recycling. | | | - Properly cleans upholstered | | | furniture. | | | - Properly cleans sinks and | | | related fixtures. | | | - Cleans windows and light | | | fixtures. | | | - Aids and assists other | | | maintenance and operations | | | personnel. | | | - Snow removal and salting of | | | sidewalks. | | | - Replaces bad light bulbs. | | | - Must be able to work alone. | | | - Must be able to make sound | | | decisions independently. | | | - Must be able to climb and | | | work from a ladder. | | | - Must be able to work on ones | | | feet and to remain alert at | | | all times. | | | - Must interact with co-workers | | | and the public with tact and | | | diplomacy. | | | - Must be able to work in high | | | places. | | | - Must be able to work around | | | open tanks and confined | | | spaces. | | | - Must be able to work in all | | | weather conditions. | | | | | | Qualifications:Ability to | | | perform physical labor. Ability | | | to manage time without close | | | supervision. Ability to follow | | | directions and relay work | | | accomplished in an effective | | | manner. Valid Driver's License | | | required. Ability to operate | | | various types of equipment such | | | as floor scrubbers, floor | | | sweepers, snow blower, forklift, | | | and city automobiles. | | | | | | Work Conditions:Ability to | | | use hand tools, shovel, etc. | | | Ability to work outdoors | | | sometimes in adverse weather | | | conditions.
