BlackRock Vice President - Real Asset Securities (Listed Infrastructure) in Singapore, Singapore

About this role

We are currently seeking an APAC-based member for our Global Real Asset Securities team, who will report directly to the Head of Asia Pacific Real Asset Securities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Head of Asia Pacific Real Asset Securities and the global portfolio managers to contribute to alpha generation and investment process excellence across the global real asset securities strategies, with a primary focus and stock coverage on Asia Pacific listed infrastructure.

  • Be an active member of the Global Real Asset Securities team; involved inall aspects of the equity research and portfolio construction spectrum; specifically with primary coverage of, and stock selection responsibility for listed infrastructure and utilities across the Asia Pacific region for our global funds.

  • Conduct due diligence on public companies and infrastructure markets by analyzing financial statements, engaging with company management teams and reviewing other sources of market and company information.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the fields related to infrastructure and utilities investment.

  • A strong academic background with a Bachelor's degree; a relevant Master's degree or CFA designation is highly regarded.

  • Demonstrated expertise in research, quantitative and analytical skills, including financial modeling and cash flow forecasting.

  • A results-driven, collaborative mindset.

  • Creative and critical independent thinker.

  • A strong passion for a career in real assets and equity investments.

  • Willingness to undertake regional travel as needed.

  • Proficiency in Asian languages such as Japanese or Mandarin is preferred to facilitate communication with stakeholders within the region.
