Summary:

The Senior Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and building strong relationships with customers and partners within the biometric identity solution market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, strong technical acumen, and a deep understanding of the biometric and security industry.

As our Senior Regional Sales Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the South East Asian territory.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including targeting key accounts, industries, and vertical markets.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective sales campaigns, promotions, and product launches.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, partners, and stakeholders.

  • Promote Biometric solution by engaging with system integrators as well as shaping specification at end user levels.

  • Engage with system integrators Collect and analyze the customer's requirements prior to the publication of the request for tenders and anticipate any request to adjust the roadmap of the products concerned.

  • Conduct regular meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to showcase HID biometric identity solutions and address customer needs including, but not limited to the organization of proof of concept, product demonstrations and customer test (benchmarks) for our customers.

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Work on opportunities to establish preliminary budget and planning estimates in anticipation before the RFP.

  • Prepare response to expression of interest, request for information and any other tender related references.

  • Interacts with multiple functions within the organization: presales, PMO (tender assistants), business development, product & marketing managers, legal department.

  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats.

  • Gather customer feedback, insights, and requirements to inform product development, marketing strategies, and sales initiatives.

  • Sales & Business development experience within a software/solution area is required.

  • Strong technical acumen and understanding of biometric identity solutions, authentication technologies, and industry standards.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.University degree is recommended but a proven background in B2B / B2G business development may be sufficient.

  • Strong record of business-to-business sales at a corporate level.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to talk to potential clients with confidence.

  • Highly developed presentation skills are essential.

  • Ability to negotiate and close deals, goal orientation.

  • Research and analytical skills, strategic thinking.

  • A responsible approach to work, ability to work independently.

  • Willingness to travel, flexibility.

    Your Experience and Education include :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technology preferred.

  • 8+ years’ experience in eKYC, AFIS/ABIS solutions is highly preferred.

  • 10+ years of related government, banking markets and business development experience.

    Language Skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.

  • Additional local language used in South East Asia is a great advantage.

    Computer Skills

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

  • Familiar with operating systems, such as windows, etc.
