WTW Senior Associate - Renewable Energy in Singapore, Singapore
The Role
Responsibilities of the role include, (but are not limited to):
Collaboration across WTW Singapore Regional teams including and broader network offices to support the development of new business into the region, contributing to and supporting initiatives in tandem with WTW’s growth plans, as well as the Regional Lines of Business strategies
Close collaboration with the WTW Singapore Regional Natural Resources and Construction team and broader network offices to support client retention through the deliver of excellence and optimization strategies
Best in class market client advisory and broking into the various insurance and reinsurance markets in Asia, supporting the delivery of tailor-made placement solutions and Alternative Risk transfer solutions to meet our Renewable Energy clients and future clients' needs
Best in class market broking (when needed), into the various reinsurance markets in Asia and elsewhere, in collaboration with our Global Network and Broking Centers (notably London and Dubai), to support both inwards client servicing and placement opportunities, as well as broader global marketing strategies for our Asian clients and future clients.
Continued development of a robust knowledge of our client businesses and markets, as well as keeping up to date with relevant business trends, insights and innovation
Working collaboratively in a team environment to research and knowledge share, contributing to and demonstrating an ability to apply judgement, initiative and lateral thinking to problem solving
Supporting the delivery of benchmark studies, focus group insights, innovation and best in class
Supporting iniatives in the development of new product awareness
Client advisory broking / placement solutions for our clients, including but not limited to the negotiation of traditional and non-traditional risk and insurance solutions, delivery of competitive pricing, fit for purpose policy wordings and the resolution of technical and engineering matters
Working with and supporting the broader team in the day-to-day aspects of account management and administration, including billing transactional work, data input within in-house systems and budgets, premium payment monitoring etc, and ongoing servicing requirements ensuring an efficient and effective work process
Working closely and collaboratively with the Risk and Engineering and Claims teams
Developing robust stakeholder relationships in tandem with the broader team to understand and articulate WTW’s value proposition
Any other duties that may be required from time to time, to support the Head of Construction and Natural Resources, Asia to support the development of Natural Resources business.
All duties and work activities shall be undertaken in accordance with WTW’s Corporate Policies and Compliance Framework
The Requirements
At least 2 years relevant experience and qualifications
A strong execution ability and management of time sensitive issues
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
Candidates should be highly motivated with good interpersonal skills
Independent and self-motivated individuals who work well in a team environment and who will consistently strive to deliver the best to WTW’s clients.
