Sony Pictures Entertainment Marketing Intern in Singapore, Singapore

Based in our Singapore office and reporting to the General Manager, SPRI for Singapore, this role will assist the marketing team and provide administrative support for Sony Pictures Releasing Singapore. With hit feature films like Spider-Man: No Way Home, Bullet Train and Uncharted, this role offers an opportunity to connect popular I.P. and motion picture properties with millions of fans for the ultimate entertainment experiences.

In this 6 month internship placement you will get the opportunity to develop business acumen and gain hands-on experience in marketing analysis and preparing reports and decks for clients to drive business results. You will also gain professional work experience with a global, world-class organization and will be assigned ongoing, daily responsibilities, as well as independent projects, and will assist with various office and administrative tasks.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in preparing and executing marketing campaigns for film releases

  • Contributing to social media content and strategy, analyzing engagement metrics, assisting in the development of content for different social media platforms.

  • Assisting with events and activations such as promotional screenings.

  • Collaborating with team members to brainstorm creative marketing ideas that will resonate with target audiences.

  • Publicity/Media – Work closely with the social media agency to brainstorm on social campaign ideas, influencers’ pitching and management, media and influencer screenings, influencer activations such as assisting in vox-pop post screenings, filming creators’ content if required.

  • Partnerships – Assist in partnership pitches and proposals, brainstorm on creative partnership ideas and reach outreach to partners on partnership interests.

    Candidate Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate in marketing, advertising, business, communications, or another related field. (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply)

  • Passion for marketing and associated digital technology with a passion for entertainment, pop culture and movies

  • Entrepreneurial thinker and has a collaborative “can do”’ attitude with a desire for continuous improvement

  • Excellent command of spoken and written English with strong writing and storytelling skills

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multi-task with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially with Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint such as preparing a dynamic PowerPoint presentation

  • Proficient in Adobe suite software - Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere is an advantage

    Please note that this is an internship program of 6 months.
