Purpose of Role

The Human Resources Intern will be part of the SAPAC HR team to support the day-to-day operation and administer various Human Resources policies, procedures, and processes in accordance with laws, standards and government regulations in Singapore.

We will prioritize candidates who can dedicate themselves to a full-time 6-month internship.

Your Impact

  • Work closely with HRBPs to communicate and administer various Human Resources policies, procedures, and processes in accordance with laws, standards and government regulations.

  • Provide administrative support, as needed to HR Director/General Manager and HRBPs. (Including creating and maintaining organizational charts, some scheduling, coordination, and preparation for key meetings).

  • Support both retail and corporate employee life cycle.

  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws & advisories.

  • Gather documentation for terminations and resignations and ensure that all documentation is returned for timely processing.

  • Assist with onboarding of new teammates in partnership with Recruiter, Onboarding team, and Hiring Manager

  • Schedule/conduct exit interviews and analyze data & make recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Oversee & manage all teammates' engagement activities and recognition programs for retention.

  • Promote & establish a positive teammate experience; drive the UA culture through all levels of the business unit.

  • Office management duties as required.

  • How to communicate across a diverse organisation with many different cultures, geographies and preferences.

Who are we looking for?

  • Strong interest in Human Resources is an advantage.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

  • Strong multi-tasking skills & sense of urgency (good time management).

  • Takes initiative and is able to work independently with strong follow-up skills.

  • Independent learner who is open to being guided by Seniors & Managers within the organization.

  • Team player mindset with communication & collaboration skills.

  • Return To Work Designation: Hybrid work arrangement permits working from home on Mondays and Fridays, with flexibility subject to company requirements.
