Purpose of Role
The Assistant Manager, Retail Store Design & Development will oversee the development, adoption and execution of new and existing stores across the South APAC region. He/she will be responsible for the conceptual development and liaising with stakeholders to manage and execute the design.
Your Impact
Design & Development
Ensure that the brand guidelines are at a consistent level to achieve cohesive effect in terms of architecture, detailing and merchandising layouts.
Support the ongoing repair & maintenance of the stores.
Review global latest design concept to execute share-out on regional level.
Review & approve all material sample submitted by each country within region.
Review & design all retail store layout to ensure maximum efficiency, smooth consumer journey and meets local/landlord/brand guidelines.
Review and execute creative opportunities for all New Store Opening / Projects
Ensure store is regularly maintained to uphold premium brand experience.
Ensure all fixture and construction does not compromise safety for retail teammates and customers.
Project Management
Site inspections for on-going projects and able to read and interpret architectural drawings.
Review Long Range Plan for each countries store count.
Advice on project estimates, budgets and feasibility
Setup & Maintain database (Atlas) records for projects.
Maintain NSO/Projects Budget tracker to ensure project is within CAPEX.
Run through Punchlist/Defects report with General Contractors and coordinate rectification works.
Team Collaboration
Partner with key accounts on annual project overview
Partner with Global Design Team on South APAC Retail Development execution
Partner with SCM team to ensure dates are communicated and delivery is completed on-time.
Qualifications
5+ years of relevant experience in construction, facilities and/or project management
High level of working proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe software
Work in a team environment promoting both collaboration and problem-solving while building effective working relationships.
Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects and deadlines.
Manages time well and be self-motivated/self-starter with attention to detail.
Possesses a proactive working style that is both friendly and helpful.
Strong team player
Multi-unit project management is a plus.
Workplace Location
Location: Singapore Office
Return To Work Designation: Hybrid work arrangement permits working from home on Mondays and Fridays, with flexibility subject to company requirements.
