The Role:

This role participates in progressing the sale of MATC from lead to close to implementation and support to product management within the assigned region. The role is expected to lead the internal team by way of market development, product support, face-to-face customer meetings, demonstrations and opportunity support (including tenders) to meet the goals and objectives of the business & creates an account plan for each strategic account in which budgeted targets are translated into specific strategy and actions per account as part of the operational plan of the sales group.

The Responsibility:

Develops, maintains and improves relations with a limited number of accounts to keep or to set Philips as preferred supplier.

Initializes and coordinates all Philips efforts to the accounts in order to maximize the output of the sales group.

Creates an account plan for each account for 2 years in which budgeted targets are translated into specific strategy and actions per account as part of the operational plan of the sales group.

Creates and implements action programs for and with the accounts to improve the performance of Philips. Drives the performance of the functions in the account team to get it done.

Systematically analyzes and reports sales results, expectations, market, competition and trends to make proposals for improvement.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Experience in Medical Devices and Channel Management

  • Professional knowledge and experience in the use of relevant marketing and sales techniques.

  • Knowledge of logistics and process management.

  • Basic understanding of finance.

  • Fluent in English, verbally and in writing.

  • Independent negotiations with end users and channel partners, within given guidelines and objectives

  • Strong ability to influence others in a team setting

  • Competitive spirit/drive to win
