Summary This position is assigned to the Clubs, Business Activities Division, Morale Welfare and Recreation Department. The primary purpose of the position is to assist the Clubs Manager with planning recreation activities and conducting daily operations of the Clubs. Responsibilities Monitors operations of the Clubs during the absence of the Club Manager or to assist the Club Manager. Provides work directions to other employees. Responsible for the issue, receipt, and control of cash. Makes unscheduled cash counts. Prepares reports. Assures patron satisfaction by resolving complaints, providing information and answering questions. Inspects and secures facility at the end of the shift. Maintains and enforces security for funds, merchandise, supplies, equipment and property. Must be alert to alcohol abuse and take appropriate action. Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications One year of general experience or two years of education above high school. General experience: Progressively responsible clerical, office or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of this position. Qualified candidates will be evaluated in conjunction with the following Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (K.S.A.): Knowledge of club, business operations, or equivalent leadership experience. Ability to provide work direction to other employees. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and sales operation.
