Your Responsibilities as an Engineer 2: Support soil and groundwater remediation projects. Oversee operations and maintenance (O&M) of remediation systems including groundwater and soil vapor extraction. Oversee collection soil, water, and air samples for O&M purposes. Assist with project engineering design. Oversee field work to ensure work is done in accordance with work plans and other plans and specifications. Support oversight of field technicians related to O&M. Oversee the installation of remediation systems. Gather, analyze, and interpret O&M data. Write technical reports and proposals. What we're looking for: BA/BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field. EIT certification desired. HAZWOPER certification. 4 to 6 years of related experience with field data collection and technical writing. Proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD. Excellent technical communication skills; strong attention to detail; field adeptness. Good safety record and understanding of safe work practices. Experience with stormwater is a plus.
