Principal Accountabilities:
Assure adherence to the schedule and manage all unplanned events
Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) performance by analyzing performance and suggesting/implementing process improvements
Hold daily shift huddle meetings with employees in your area to coordinate coverage and assure daily/weekly goals are communicated
Conduct daily audits and assure corrective action is completed
Audit and complete all shift related paperwork
Ensure all products meet specifications (both functionally and cosmetically)
Coordinate schedules (breaks, vacations, call-ins, open positions)
Complete near miss reports and all near miss follow-up actions
Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations(including food safety policies and procedures)
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
Basic mechanical knowledge
Able to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Must be able to operate machinery, industrial equipment and/or mobile equipment
Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous Warehouse experience
Experience driving a forklift
Experience working with Automated Storage Retrieval System (ASRS)
Basic use of computer
High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience
