Johnson & Johnson is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our dynamic global legal organization. Job Responsibilities:
Provide legal counsel and strategic guidance to the Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine business units and enabling functions
Collaborate with other J&J lawyers and business colleagues to further alignment and exchange effective strategies.
Offer sound legal advice and ethical guidance, ensuring compliance with Johnson & Johnson's values and policies
Lead the development and implementation of new policies and training programs
Contribute to innovative projects with significant patient impact
Handle government queries and investigations
Collaborate with internal Health Care Compliance function and other teams to support corporate compliance projects
Handle labor disputes, with a focus on compliance management and control
Provide guidance to internal team members about product liability issues
Engage and lead outside counsel
Coordinate projects and other work as assigned
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Juris Doctorate, LLB or equivalent law degree from a reputable law school in China
Licence to practice law in China; additional licence in another jurisdiction preferred
Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin
Minimum of 8 years of relevant legal experience, including compliance issues in the healthcare industry
Experience working in multinational corporations, preferably in pharmaceuticals or life science industries
Broad-based commercial and corporate experience
Experience in handling and/or managing litigation, especially labor cases, is a plus
