Amazon Product Marketing Manager, Buy with Prime in Shanghai, China

The Global Selling team in China is responsible for recruiting local businesses to sell on Amazon’s 19 overseas marketplaces, and supporting local sellers’ success and growth on the Amazon. Our vision is to be the first choice for all types of Chinese business to go globally.

Asia Global Selling Buy with Prime (BwP) team currently seeks a multi-faceted, customer-oriented, data-driven Product Marketing Manager to drive awareness and adoption among Sellers. In this role, s/he will be a key member of the BwP Team, providing critical support to BwP business growth by working closely with global and China stakeholders to define overall product communication & activation strategies.

Key job responsibilities

· Develop and implement go-to-market strategies to effectively influence target audience and drive awareness & adoption of Buy with Prime product.

· Create innovative and scalable marketing campaigns, including content marketing, social engagement and offline event exposures.

· Identify and activate all necessary online and offline marketing channels to deliver key messages and campaigns.

· Develop VoS mechanism to collect CN Seller insights to influence product offerings.

· Monitor marketing performance metrics, always seeking ways to improve.

· Build collaboration mechanism with cross-functional teams for synergy and process efficiency.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience prior success in driving execution of large-scale project plans with multiple teams in support of business goals

  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements

  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership

  • Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously, as well as stakeholder expectations.

  • Superior oral and written communication skills both in English and Chinese, with an innate attention to details

  • 10+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience, ideally in product marketing or PR.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA Preferred.

  • Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives.

  • Experience working with global teams.

  • Able to drive innovation and creativity.

  • Demonstrates capacity to thrive in a fast-paced workplace and deal with ambiguity.
