What will I be doing?

The Manager, GDCM Property Systems Projects role will have the overall responsibility for managing the implementation of Property Management Systems and other products into new opening, converting or operating hotels for our focused service hotels in GCM. The individual in this role will lead a team of Senior Associates and Associates and will liaise with other key departments such as brand in the preparation of opening.More specifically, you will:

·Work in partnership with the Field Services team on the off site preparation activities relating to the successful installation of Property Management Systems into new and converting hotels

·Be responsible for the timely assignment of team members to projects, based on the defined project plans, ensuring all preparation items defined in the project plans are completed

·Proactively monitor on-site activities and strategic planning of contingencies for high risk items such as network connectivity, hotel team member training concerns, configuration issues

·Collaborate with the department Senior Manager / Director in managing risks to meeting opening/conversion dates, be the first line of escalation to support teams, ensuring all stakeholders are kept updated at all times

·Ensure all open items (support tickets) are being resolved post-implementation and after the onsite team has moved to other projects

·Maintain relationships with internal and external partners to ensure timelines are met, owners are briefed on the PMS implementation process and costs

·Manage the onboarding and development plans for all direct reports

·Conduct interviews for potential new hires in line with business demands

·Proactively highlight future strategies and demands in the region to the Director of the department (for example country specific influx of projects, language/cultural requirements)

·Conduct on-site visits to high profile projects, large full-service projects and any additional projects deemed necessary

Direct Reports: Approximately two (2) direct reports

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

·Seven (7) years of experience in Technology related field

·Two(2) years of progressive experience in Technology deployment

·Two (2) years of experience managing teams and/projects

·Approximate travel 30-40%

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

·Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus 6 years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12 years of Technology related experience

·Nine (9) years of experience in Technology related field

Three (3) years progressive experience in Technology Deployment
