Brown-Forman Junior Finance Analyst (RGM) - Greater China/Mongolia/Taiwan in Shanghai, China
Meaningful Work From Day One
This role is a key business partner working closely with Commercial and Marketing and other key stakeholders in the region of Greater China/Mongolia/Taiwan.
This role is responsible for driving revenue growth through analysis of market data, pricing and promotional strategies, and consumer behavior. This role requires expertise in data analytics, market research, and revenue management to support decision-making and optimize business performance.
What You Can Expect
Assist Sr. Finance Manager in gaming and developing pricing modeling and pricing scenarios.
Provide the financial base for pricing/promotions through profitability analysis on product and customer levels.
Develop discounting and promotion analysis methodology in conjunction with pricing analytics.
Provide timely reviews of promotional performance for key brands and products.
Quantify and forecast pricing, promotional, channel/customer mix change impacts.
Actively participate in further improving on the price and conditions system and in the regular negotiation process to drive appropriate pricing.
Develop insights based on the 5 levers of RGM, identify revenue and margin enhancement opportunities, provide qualitative and quantitative insights and actionable recommendations.
Assist Sr. Finance Manager to utilize data from a variety of sources, such as macro economic, consumer consumption, category, price segment, market dynamic trends to evaluate the region’s RGM strategy and develop execution plans.
Coordinate RGM and pricing alignment meetings across functions and geographies within the region.
Support presentation of RGM storytelling decks.
Represent the Finance department in special, cross-functional projects.
Ad-hoc analysis, special projects and support in all other areas of the Finance Team.
What You Bring to the Table
Demonstrable finance experience with a multinational consumer products goods company
Strong financial and analytical abilities.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with fluency in English required.
Experience with software applications in accounting, budgeting, and valuation techniques (MS Office, SAP incl. Business Warehouse/BI).
