About this role
The Global Corporate Real Estate Service (CRES) portfolio is significant in size, and consists of a mixture of office locations, supply/manufacturing sites and land/other. This role is responsible for the following in region:
Delivering the Global CRES Strategy; to create inclusive and sustainable workplaces that drive connections and inspire our employees to do their best work.
Executing aspects of this strategy with our five pillars: Workplace Experience, Portfolio and Supply Partner Optimisation, Sustainability, Equity, Risk Management and MI, plus People/Culture
Financial performance of the CRES function for operational IFM/FM in the region plus day-to-day Property Lease administration.
Stakeholder engagement & business partnering across the region – displaying SME leadership in facilities management and strong relationship building.
Providing oversight and leadership of the Regional CRES teams, both inhouse and outsourced.
Ensure proper governance for CRES related activities i.e. sustainability and H&S reporting, and managing related risk
Partnering with the business, suppliers, and internal partners to ensure our workspaces meet our ambition.
Key Accountabilities
Outstanding Relationships
Develop and maintain trusted productive relationships with business/market stakeholders, Global/Regional CRES Teams and with key personnel at our supply partners, participate in stakeholder and team meetings.
Build, maintain relationships with networks to obtain insights, be the ambassador for CRES in the region, showcasing our successes and innovation with periodic, strong stakeholder engagement.
CRES Facilities Management Performance & Outcomes
Ensuring the IFM and operational delivery optimises cost, carbon, and Workplace Experience, developing and delivering IFM related programmes for consolidation, change or growth where needed, i.e. roll out of Brand Standards.
Coordinate all FM, encompassing maintenance, fire, mechanical, electrical support, the help desk function, environmental safety guidelines. Own and manage the IFM opex budgets for the region, driving efficiencies a $ saves.
Coordinate site operations to ensure continuity of property services with minimum disruption to Diageo’s business operations.
Comply with all Supplier and Diageo’s systems used to meet its health and safety obligations.
Deliver our 2030 targets of Sustainability – waste, water, carbon, aligning CRES with Diageo’s Society 2030 ambition.
Team and 3rd Parties.
- Ensuring optimal delivery of key supplier IFM contracts to address business needs and release value. Manage all day-to-day issues and escalations.
Governance, Risk, Performance Measurement & Reporting
Share, roll out and embed best practice in CRES activities i.e., codification across region.
Ensure compliance with standards and policies within CRES, own all CRES related H&S and IFM risks in region.
Measuring and reporting to the Regional CRES on IFM metrics, plus key regional stakeholders
Establishing appropriate steering groups for markets within the geography and holding them to account for the governance of decisions and change projects for their market.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Strong experience of managing IFM services across a range of buildings – offices and supply.
Leadership / management experience in CRES related function.
Experience in and / or a good understanding of Diageo or equivalent organisation
Highly self-motivated and pro-active with effective communication skills
Ability to align key stakeholders with potentially conflicting priorities and to effectively communicate with/challenge senior stakeholders.
Proven track record to work with others, both within CRES and across an organisation
Be able to display knowledge of change and programme management i.e. first or second gen outsourcing, IFM initiatives
Experience in the strategic management of IFM services and partners across multiple markets
Understanding of Supplier and CRES IFM performance metrics and communication thereof
Experience of managing Sustainability programmes/targets across the CRES lifecycle
Awareness and management of CRES Risk and governance
