Aston Carter Plant Controller in Seward, Nebraska
Aston Carter is looking to hire a Plant Accountant based in Lincoln, NE! This position offers competitive pay with a top company in the area.
Job Description:
Partner with plant and business leadership to enable optimal decision making
Assist in pricing decisions for new and existing customers
Reporting and Analysis:
Manufacturing Standard vs. Variance Analysis
Manage, execute, and optimize monthly close process
Partner with IT on Development and roll-out of reporting in multiple systems
Measurement and reporting of operational metrics: Yield, Scrap, Throughputs, Labor Efficiency, etc.
Standard Costing, develop and maintain
Departmental spend forecasting and analysis
Cost Savings identification and quantification
Manufacturing Standard vs. Variance Analysis
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance discipline
Experience in cost accounting and manufacturing environment (5+ years)
Experience in working with complex ERP’s and identification/implementation of improvement
High level of proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP's, etc.)
Understanding and history of operating within Financial Reporting, and Forecasting systems
