Title: Utility Worker

**A manufacturer in Wadsworth is currently seeking a Utility Worker to add to their team.

This position will perform general duties in both light assembly and warehouse functions at a facility located in Seville, Ohio. The duties and responsibilities listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Shift: 1st Shift | 6:00am - 2:30pm -or- 7:00am - 3:30pm

Starting Pay: $19.50 - $21.00/per hour

Essential Functions and Requirements:

• Works as a team, which requires that each person be in the right place at the right time.
• Follows established work practices and procedures to ensure quality while following applicable ISO processes and work instruction.
• Basic knowledge of shop tools and equipment in the area(s) being trained/ qualified.
• Loading, unloading, and moving materials to inventory storage locations within the warehouses, shop, and work cells by hand, cart, fork truck, or pallet jack.
• Compares quantities on paperwork and within SAP check for accuracy.
• Picks, packages, schedules, and prepares orders and paperwork for shipment to vendors or customers.
• Working knowledge of SAP functions for related job level
• Liaison between Shipping/Receiving and other departments pertaining to material receipts, production paperwork, and sales paperwork.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to effectively communicate information to all levels of organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Additional Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• One to three months of related experience and/or training
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
