Randstad is hiring for an experienced TIG Welder in Largo, FL, not MIG. This job requires a reusme to be sent over, as well as an in-person interview with the client. -Set-up and installation of welding equipment -Execution of welding on gas turbine components as per the required technical specification -Preparation/confirmation of the required quality documentation -Setting up welding parameters, selects consumable materials, and prepares work piece for new welding process trials together with engineering staff -Designs and fabricates welding fixtures, chill blocks, and purge boxes as required
salary: $18 - $22 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
TIG Welding, not MIG.
Set-up and installation of welding equipment
Execution of welding on gas turbine components as per the required technical specification
Preparation/confirmation of the required quality documentation
Setting up welding parameters, selects consumable materials, and prepares work piece for new welding process trials together with engineering staff
Designs and fabricates welding fixtures, chill blocks, and purge boxes as required
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 35lbs
