About the role
We are hiring experienced and capable Service and Repair Technical Assistants based in Kuala Lumpur.
Reporting to a Section Manager, you will work closely with various other departments, such as Service Sales, NE Sales and Project, Quality, Environment/Health, and Safety, to ensure work is carried out efficiently and safely.

What you will be doing
Carry out 100% of lift maintenance and service visits of the units within your territory to achieve continual operation
This position may require for 24-hour Breakdown Callback Standby duties
Liaise directly with the customer while on site to build a good working relationship.
Ensure that all works performed (i.e., servicing, parts replacement, repairs, and breakdown) are documented with the relevant customer's request.
To attend as soon as reasonably possible, all breakdown callback assignments, especially to give priority to 'man trap' situation
To perform other repair works as instructed by the Supervisor and report all abnormal findings for further action
Any other duties that may be given by the Supervisor from time to time
What you will need to be successful
Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Engineering or Technical related fields
At least 2-3 years of experience in the elevator and escalator industry
Have basic Electrical, Electronic, and or Mechanical knowledge, able to troubleshoot and solve technical problems will have an added advantage
A committed professional with Safety as a priority
Comfortable using electronic and digital tools
Able to work independently with minimum supervision
Able to standby to attend to call-backs
Self-disciplined, curious, adaptable, and works well with minimum supervision and in a team.
