Amazon Video Production Manager, Creative Studios Video Incentives in Seattle, Washington

Description

Our team's mandate is to be customer obsessed building brands with video content creation programs using our third-party partnerships and in-house video teams. Our current program(s) are defining and delivering full video creation capabilities for advertisers. As a video production manager, you will oversee the video production process with internal and external stakeholders, in all production activities and operations.

Key job responsibilities

  • Manage end to end workflows of video production with 3rd party production companies, ensuring videos produced are delivered on time, within scope, are policy compliant and meet the creative bar.

  • Translate voice of the customer feedback into production, program and product requirements

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across product, sales, services and operations teams

  • Work cross-functionally to manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and maximize business benefit while building great customer experiences

  • Contribute to vision, metrics, goals and performance of video programs

  • Communicate project statuses daily, flagging and troubleshooting potential issues

  • Remove roadblocks to production

  • Archive and deliver final assets

A day in the life

You will be responsible for monitoring the production processes. Ensuring each video project is completed on time, within budget and compliant with our policies in an effective and efficient manner is vital to the role. You will partner with program, product, and account teams by evolving brand production mechanisms and processes including scorecards, 'creative bars', and case studies based on Amazon-specific requirements to help emerging advertisers reach new customers with video. This includes an understanding of video production, media management and post production pipelines (including attendance of kick-off-calls, briefs, concepts, and feedback related to editorial post-production), along with project management experience. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means anticipating bottlenecks, making trade-offs and balancing the needs of various key stakeholders.

Our team's mandate is to bring Amazon video ad campaigns to life and grow brands with customers, while driving video product awareness, unblocking creative and providing a comprehensive suite of video solutions.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior management

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Proven 4+ years experience in cross-functional program or project management

  • Experience owning creative strategy and end-to-end video delivery

  • Experience defining and executing against program requirements

  • Video advertising and advertising technology experience

  • Able to analyze data and derive business insights

  • Able to identify relevant markers of success opportunities and risks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Dedicated experience as a Video Producer or Video Campaign Manager

  • Fluent in Mandarin is a plus

  • Experience owning production strategy and end-to-end delivery

  • Proven experience delivering final video production for advertising

  • Experience with video localization and transcreation for multiple markets, cultures and languages

  • Passionate about advertising and new media

  • Experience in streaming video or AVOD

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a communications or media field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
