Amazon System Development Engineer, Paragon Case Management System, Selling Partner Experience in Seattle, Washington

Description

Our team is responsible for Case Management System, Paragon that serves 145+ Amazon business with 60K active users per month.

We are looking for system development engineers who thrive on complex problems and relish the challenge of operating complex and mission critical systems under extreme loads. Our systems manage case resolution systems with hundreds of millions of requests, and respond to millions of service requests. We have both frontend and backend code stack and opportunities. Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering experience

  • 2+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

  • Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
