As the Sr. Technical Program Manager in Workforce Solutions (Employee Engagement Solutions), you will lead program management efforts to build impactful products that drive employee engagement for operations. This includes an event management platform, a conversation tool for Operators to connect with their teams, and a metric-driven assessment product for Operation leaders. The Employee Engagement Solutions team owns the end-to-end delivery of critical technologies, creating the gold standard for employee engagement tools tailored for Operation leaders. If building products that shape how associates connect and grow excites you, this role is a perfect fit.
The ideal candidate has experience managing large-scale technical programs with cross-functional impact. You have a proven ability to plan and deliver complex, multi-year roadmaps using iterative approaches. You thrive in customer-focused environments, driving alignment across geographically dispersed teams, and communicating effectively with stakeholders ranging from engineers to VPs. You excel at simplifying ambiguous problems into actionable solutions and writing strategic documents that influence senior leaders. With strong business judgment, collaboration skills, and data-driven decision-making, you consistently deliver results while keeping customers at the center.
Key job responsibilities
• Work with engineering, product management, operations, marketing, legal, etc. to launch employee engagement solutions globally to millions of our associates and our operation leaders.
• Manage complex cross team programs from ideation to delivery
• Create transparency and predictability with roadmaps, planning, and partner management
• Manage delivery schedules and emergent tasks while mitigating risks, managing tradeoffs, and eliminating blockers
• Participate in architectural decisions, surfacing and mitigating technical risks, driving complex integrations with internal and 3rd party solutions, retiring technical debt, and identifying opportunity to create operational efficiencies

As a Sr. Technical Program Manager in Workforce Solutions, your day revolves around driving the delivery of impactful employee engagement solutions like Thrive, Engage, Gather, and Conversation Hub. You collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and marketing, to manage complex global programs from ideation to launch. Your mornings might involve roadmap reviews, addressing technical risks, or refining project timelines, while afternoons are dedicated to drafting strategic plans, aligning stakeholders, and analyzing customer feedback to enhance the user experience. You ensure transparency and predictability, mitigate risks, and eliminate blockers to deliver scalable solutions that impact millions of associates and leaders globally. Whether resolving technical challenges, leading architectural discussions, or balancing trade-offs, your role is critical in building innovative, data-driven tools that foster engagement and set the gold standard for employee solutions at Amazon.
About the team
You will be part of the Employee Engagement Solutions team within the Workforce Solutions Organization. The Employee Engagement team owns the full suite of product such as Thrive, Engage, Gather, and Conversation Hub.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of technical product or program management experience
7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
3+ years of software development experience
5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
