The Quality, Technology and Services builds and monitors systems and processes that make Amazon Robotics supply chain planning, manufacturing seamless. Our team is looking for an innovative, results-oriented Software Development Engineer to build solutions guiding our existing and future state manufacturing and supply chain operations. We are focused on designing scalable solutions that guide robotics scaling as we build and deliver the next generation of robots. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving highly complex business problems, and is passionate about people, software engineering, and system architecture. This role will focus on ERP, PLM, Supply Chain integration and Planning. Successful candidates will be a high-bandwidth SDE who can cut through the noise, simplify relentlessly, deliver results, and develop integrated digital solutions.

Please note that we are open to hiring at the following multiple locations : Boston, Toronto, Seattle, and other approved FTR locations.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

  • 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience

  • 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $134,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
