The Alexa Enterprise Products (AEP) organization collaborates with external third party partners to develop Alexa solutions to delight end customers. Within this org, the Alexa Built-in (ABI) team works to integrate Alexa as a feature into major OEM brand devices, expanding the Alexa footprint globally. A critical component of this integration is to establish a working relationship with priority partners to evolve and expand offerings as well as collaborate on how to drive awareness and engagement of the Alexa feature among customers.

In this role, the ABI Product Marketing Manager (PMM) will lead the all-up marketing strategy and execution of co-marketing initiatives for select priority partners. They will own and foster the direct marketing relationship with select partners and dive deep to establish and execute agreed upon plans. They will leverage existing Amazon-owned channels to communicate to end users educating them on the benefits/value of incorporating Alexa into their daily habits. The PMM owns all customer-facing messaging and collaborates and influences internal stakeholders including finance, product, BD, BI and UX/Design to ensure customer awareness, education and on-boarding are foundational in future product and partner roadmaps. This PMM role leads all Amazon tent-pole events planning and execution on behalf of Alexa Built-in and their partners. This involves creating clearly defined, strategic plans for major marketing events while influencing internal global events team to secure key placements to establish the reach necessary to meet event KPIs.

Key job responsibilities

The PMM role will lead end-to-end marketing projects large (strategic) and small (tactical) while being able to adapt to a quickly changing organization. They will dive deep into analytics and customer insights to fine-tune their marketing approach while clearly communicating plans, learnings and opportunities up to leadership. They must prioritize the customer, work closely with internal stakeholders, and relentlessly focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience. Key job responsibilities:

  • Develop the annual marketing strategy for up to three priority partners in a select product category. Strategy will define annual marketing goals with associated thematic go-gets and tactical executions to drive business impact.

  • Leverage Amazon owned and operated marketing channels, creating messaging and targeting to reach the right customer at the right time to drive priority KPIs.

  • Directly foster the relationship with external partner marketing teams working to define and execute on co-marketing plans.

  • Lead development, execution and analysis of all program tent-pole marketing events.

  • Own the analysis, reporting and next steps for select partner and category report outs to leadership.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis

  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
