Amazon.com is seeking an innovative Senior Product Manager – Technical to join our Financial Benefits team. This role will focus on product management of systems and processes that Equity (Stock Issuance, Governance, Operations) and 401K administration to Amazon employees. This position will work in close partnership with internal stakeholders and external service providers to deliver equity to Amazon employees worldwide. This role will have exceptional communication and organizational skills, strong analytical and critical thinking skills, attention to detail and accuracy, as well as a commitment to high quality of work with impeccable customer service. This role requires demonstrated interpersonal skills in both written and verbal communications to employees and business partners.

Key job responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for uncovering customer needs, collecting requirements, writing PRFAQs, and partnering with UX and engineering teams to meet business needs delivering and Amazon employees using the Amazon Equity Management and 401K systems

  • Research customer and industry requirements

  • Write vision, business requirements, and PRFAQ documents

  • Review and guide UX and engineering decisions to meet product needs

  • Represent the organization in WBR, MBR, and QBR documents and meetings

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of end to end product delivery experience

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience managing technical products or online services

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field, or equivalent professional work experience in technical roles

  • 3+ years of product management experience delivering large-scale products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through launch.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in global equity compensation

  • MBA or Master’s Degree in a technical field

  • Demonstrated success translating complex qualitative and quantitative customer feedback into successful products, features and solutions

  • Experience tracking and delivering a variety of metrics to all levels of leadership

  • Experience advising engineering leadership to influence engineering roadmap priorities

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
