We are looking for a Sr. Product Manager with experience in developing scalable tech tools (preferably in operations, retail, production, or supply chain) to handle strategic product development initiatives that scale our business. You will be tasked with owning product strategy, supplier engagement and experience, financial outputs, and regular updates to senior leadership. You will work with a cross-functional and talented team of instock managers, product managers, software developers, and technologists.

This role requires a leader who thrives in ambiguity, identifies opportunities, moves fast to capture them and has tenacity. The successful candidate will have strong organizational and influencing skills and uses data to guide his/her decision-making.

The Sr. Product Manager primary responsibilities will include: - Develop new services and tools to enhance operations and processes for Amazon and our suppliers

  • Work with cross functional Ops and central planning teams to drive scale and automated adoption of solutions for private brands across NA and global geographies

  • Perform complex business analysis to identify business opportunities to improve revenue and profitability

  • Define roadmap requirements and develop user experiences stories to shape development of products and tools.

  • Conduct quantitative, qualitative, business and strategic analysis to identify, develop and implement products.

  • Identify and manage product issues, complete root cause analysis, provide escalation management and anticipate tradeoffs.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience as a product manager or owner

  • Experience owning technology products

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

  • 7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Experience in using statistical analysis to identify issues or opportunities for improvement

  • Master's degree or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
