ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own critical elements of launch readiness end-to-end contributing to the development of a single source of truth for Ads worldwide. Launchpad is Amazon Ads’ internal launch readiness tool and is a core input to an ongoing SVP goal seeking to deliver transformational value across Ads globally. You will work with a dedicated 20 person engineering team. You will own aspects of Launchpad's 3-5 year product roadmap, vision, and strategy, including identifying the most optimal tech solutions to optimize for launch readiness success across four key customer groups (Product, Marketing, Sales, and Compliance). You will be responsible for roadmap development, product/feature requirements, stakeholder and customer engagement, leadership reviews, user testing, launch strategy, and overall product/feature adoption. You will partner with engineering, sales, marketing, compliance, and product across the Ads org.

A successful candidate will have exceptional invent and simplify skillset, problem solving abilities, clear communication skills, think big mindset, and the ability to translate customers and business needs into inventive tech solutions.

Key job responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

  • Contribute to product strategy and product definition.

  • Define and manage multi-year product roadmap, including feature/product enhancements and inventive, new solutions

  • Capture, document, and communicate business and product requirements.

  • Translate requirements into features and user stories. Drive technical team understanding of requirements.

  • Manage technical build against business requirements. Provide thought leadership with engineering on implementation.

  • Collaborate with and influence key stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Compliance, and Product teams across Ads

  • Lead document development for leadership reviews.

  • Own project status updates to customers, stakeholders, and leadership.

  • Plan and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT).

  • Drive change management and adoption of solution across Ads

  • Manage post-launch activities (user support, new feature development, etc.)

  • Establish KPIs, identify gaps, and improve performance and adoption of the platform.

  • Deep dive problems or opportunity areas and propose solutions to address.

  • Generate new ideas to drive improvement, efficiency and automation across Ads enabling Launch Management to ensure launch readiness at scale

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • 5+ years of end to end product delivery experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience with product cycles of 6+ months

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience as a product manager or owner

  • Experience owning technology products

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
