Amazon Sr. Product Manager, Amazon in Seattle, Washington

Description

Amazon is looking to hire an experienced Senior Product Manager to grow our Canada business by driving new Product and feature launches, and executing Marketing strategies to drive product adoption. The PM will define strategy to drive member acquisition across our Gift and Wedding Registry and Custom businesses, identify expansion opportunities across B2B and B2C, develop and execute monetization strategies in partnership with category teams, as well as oversee the creation and development of a best in class Registry experience.

In this highly visible role, you will work with Category, Marketing and Tech teams across the organization to assess new opportunities and define best-in-class capabilities to acquire new Registrants. Your focus will be on working with partner teams, internal and external, to identify, build and manage these opportunities. In addition to ensuring Product and Feature parity for CX, you will own Marketing Campaigns and develop Go To Market Strategies to drive growth. You will own executive communication for these businesses from start to finish. You will also drive key enhancements to various existing acquisition and registry experiences, with a goal of increasing customer registration and driving growth.

Candidates should have experience working on cross-functional projects; have strong analytical skills, business judgment and customer focus. Candidates should have a strong executive presence, and exceptional written communication skills. Candidates should also have a proven track record of delivering projects from concept to launch. Experiences in Registry programs and Marketing and merchandising are highly preferred.

Key job responsibilities

• Think strategically, anticipate future trends, develop product roadmaps, and deliver on those plans.

• Drive product requirements definition, research, metrics analysis, technical specifications, development, testing, and launch efforts.

• Develop and execute internal and external Marketing campaigns

• Drive feature prioritization, with comfort working with technical teams to make decisions about complex problems.

• Work cross-functionally to manage bottlenecks, scale communication to get partner teams' input and support, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and maximize business benefit while building great customer experiences.

• Confidently present to Amazon senior management as well as other large audiences.

• Work at all levels in the organization, with no job being considered too large or too small.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience as a product manager or owner

  • Experience owning technology products

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

  • MBA

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
