We're looking for an experienced Sr. Marketing Operations Manager to support the Marketing & Comms Strategy & Ops team at Pinterest. Our newly formed Marketing Deal Desk team is responsible for managing responsible investments for Pinterest's Marketing + Communications (M&C) team, and we are currently seeking a diligent, go-getter, and strategic minded Marketing Operations Manager to join our team. This role is designed for an operational professional who thrives in building new processes, has a passion for data, strives for efficiency, and enjoys working in a highly cross-functional environment. This role requires frequent interaction with tools, templates, and systems that aid our planning, budgeting, and business operations procedures. What you'll do: Set the operating, planning, and reporting rhythm for the newly formed Marketing Deal Desk team by reviewing the current set of challenges, current systems, and implementing new ways of working for all aspects of Marketing + Communication vendor selection, procurement and contracting process. Become a consultative business partner to the global Marketing + Comms team to provide them with best practices and guidance on deal structuring, SOWs drafting, and scale lessons learned via scaled communications + training. Liaise with legal, procurement, and other cross-functional teams in the contracting, RFP, and procurement processes ensuring close alignment on internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs), ensuring we are maximizing value of our spend (e.g ROI), developing training/best practices, and to enhance the program through regular reviews of key performance indicators (KPIs). Beyond the deal desk, responsible for architecting and executing operational plans, accelerate progress, and complete projects that support both the growth of the business and enable our Marketing + Communications teams to focus on their craft and competencies. Utilize analytical tools (i.e., Tableau and SQL) to analyze and scrutinize marketing event performance data to extract valuable trends and growth opportunities. Leverage these insights to bolster analytical and reporting capabilities, ensuring informed decision-making. Utilize your Excel / Google Sheets expertise to craft accurate, future financial forecasts informed by historical data and trends.
