Splunk, Inc. Software Engineer in Seattle, Washington
Splunk, Inc. has an opening in Seattle, WA for a Software Engineer (S1143). Working independently, design & develop software applications or systems. Write backend code for Splunk search infrastructure. Build robust, fault-tolerant distributed systems in a multi-threaded/multi-process environment. Analyze and improve scalability of retrieval, routing and collection of data across multiple deployments. Analyze and improve the scalability of data collection, routing, storage and retrieval. Define and perform various search language layer optimizations and transformations.
Minimum Requirements:
-Education: Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field -Experience:2 years of work experience in position offered or in a software engineering related occupation -Experience must include: Developing and debugging object-oriented language including C++ or Java; 2. AWS services including EC2 or S3; 3. Query language including SQL or SPL; 4. Data structures, algorithms, and software design; 5. Distributed system design and implementation.
Salary: $173,400 to $219,600. Compensation package includes standard company benefits. Full time employment; multiple positions open.
