Splunk, Inc. has an opening in Seattle, WA for a Software Engineer (V804).* *Working under supervision, design & develop software applications or systems. * *Design, architect, build and test our Splunk Cloud Platform identity solution. Develop both the platform that drives identity across all Splunk Cloud products as well as the infrastructure to run and scale it. Work with architects to design new engineering capabilities for identity management and access control. Work with PMs to influence features and product direction to enhance security and customer onboarding experience. Work with customers to support their work to solve real-world problems. Run services in a container ecosystem using Docker and Kubernetes technologies, including features like autoscaling of replicas to handle variable load and metrics monitoring for the purposes to alert problems with the system. Deploy services on AWS infrastructure and using AWS services like Kinesis and Aurora DBs to power the above services. Prototype and integrate open-source technologies into our platform.

Minimum Requirements: -Education: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field -Experience: 6 months of experience in job offered or a related occupation -Educational or experience background must include: 1. AWS cloud computing platform; 2. Go, Python or JavaScript programming language; 3. Software development for Cloud services using Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS; 4. Object-oriented coding; 5. Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.

Salary:  $128,502 to $163,900; Compensation package includes standard company benefits.  Full time employment; multiple positions open. Positions are eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan and match, paid time off, and ESPP.
